Intelligent cooking leads the way with Caple's new C990i induction hob

* Caple-C990i.jpgCaple's new induction hob, the C990i, not only looks state-of-the-art with a TFT 7-inch touch screen but it features the innovative Caple Smart pan detection, which allows cooks to use the entire surface of the hob as it automatically detects up to six pans at once and even adapts to the pan size.

Product manager Luke Shipway explains: "Our new induction hob is so intuitive it will detect the pan size area and continue the timer if it is set. We've also added an incredible TFT touch screen, which uses a clever combination of TFT, LCD display and touch technology to allow you to easily select cooking options on a beautiful, full colour display."

With 21 power levels, these include a whole host of handy features, such as a Keep Warm setting at 70°C, which enables you to ensure all your food is cooked and ready to serve at the same time. Boil control is just another highly useful function, which will detect rising bubbles and automatically adjust the temperature to 94°C, stopping overflowing and creating stubborn marks on the hob.

The sleek, black glass C990i is frameless with a beautiful bevelled edge and other settings include Bake at 42°C, Booster and Booster+ functions on every zone and programmable power levels, all designed with you in mind for an easier cooking experience and better results in the kitchen. The C990i induction hob has six programmable timers too, so you can set cooking duration and finishing times on each individual zone up to 99 minutes. There is also an auto-bridge function which links zones, making this ideal when using larger pans.

The C990i induction hob measures 920mmW by 520mm by 55mmD.
