Scotland welcomes KBSA at successful regional meeting

* KBSA-ScotRegMtg.jpgThe Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association has held a well-attended regional meeting in Scotland that was hosted by corporate member Carron Phoenix.

A mixture of retail and corporate members travelled - in some cases significant distances - to hear presentations from Carron Phoenix on the changing face of the sink market, KBSA supplier Bartlett's on the current insurance offer and an update on activities from the KBSA.

"Turnout for the Scottish meetings has traditionally been very good and this meeting was no exception," reports KBSA CEO Graham Ball. "We included some interactive discussions as well as presentations which were well received and the feedback from those that attended was extremely positive."

KBSA national chairman Martin Thomas, who has an Aberdeen based bathroom and kitchen showroom, also led a discussion on 'Securing the Order' and Barclaycard took questions on the latest KBSA offer.

"Our thanks go to Carron Phoenix for their hosting of the event and to the attendees for their contributions making it a very worthwhile meeting," adds Graham.

The KBSA is a national trade association founded more than 30 years ago to promote excellence within the interiors industry and champion consumer protection. Around 300 retailer members throughout the UK support the KBSA.

KBSA members are dedicated to upholding the association's high standards of design, supply, installation and customer service throughout the interiors industry. All members are carefully vetted prior to admission and they must have been trading for at least two years in order to be considered for membership.

KBSA retailers also offer full deposit protection, work in progress cover and a 6-year workmanship warranty.

In addition, all members are subject to regular monitoring of their businesses to ensure levels of quality are continually maintained.
