Gorenje and Ecover striving for the same goals

Gorenje and Ecover are pioneering in the development of new technologies and materials that are better for the environment, whilst continuously searching for new ways to reduce the use of energy resources - and the amount of waste produced during the production process.

Along with being environmentally friendly, both companies strive to be as sustainable as possible. For Ecover this means ensuring it uses sustainable plant-based and mineral ingredients while making products as effective as possible - and achieving the lowest possible toxicity alongside the most rapid and complete biodegradability.

Gorenje develops all its products to be as sustainable as possible, making sure all the internal components can be repaired or easily replaced, unlike many appliance manufacturers whose products need to be replaced, rather than repaired, when they go wrong.

The two companies naturally complement each other and why wouldn't they, when Gorenje's stylish products make the kitchen look good, Ecover makes them clean and shiny? The two have now decided for form a partnership designed to create an easier, healthier, sustainable lifestyle for their customers and to launch it, they are running a joint competition in the Ecover online magazine the-splash, giving entrants the chance to win a Gorenje washing machine and some Ecover goodies.
