A green sweep for Lec

Refrigeration specialist, Lec, has obtained Energy Saving Trust approval across its entire product range.

Lec, which this year celebrates its 70th birthday, has had its entire product range rigorously tested and evaluated by the Energy Saving Trust.

Leading the way in the production of energy saving appliances, products in Lec's strong cooling range have undergone hours of testing against strict Energy Saving Trust Recommended criteria, set by an independent panel. They have been judged to be amongst some of the most energy efficient on the market, with reduced carbon emissions and reduced running costs for consumers.

Lec products can now be found on the Energy Saving Trust website, created for consumers in search of the most energy efficient products in their class, and will be labelled with the Energy Saving Trust Recommended label to enable consumers to make greener choices.

David Garden, commercial manager for Lec, said: "To have this official endorsement of our products is a great reward for the months of hard work and research that have gone into creating a comprehensive suite of cooling appliances that are genuinely greener."
