Bushboard scores a hat trick with its new Prima splashback collection

Bushboard's newly launched Prima splashback options combine of-the-moment colours with a durable, easy-clean surface that's simple to install. The additions provide a major boost to Bushboard's splashback offer and reflect the growing role of laminate splashbacks in today's kitchen design.

Bushboard has added 10 splashback designs to its Prima worksurface range, making a total of 27 splashbacks available overall.

Six of the new designs are Slate Sequoia, Breccia Paradiso, Calacatta Marble, Black Fossilstone, Roman Travertine and Ebony woodgrain the designs are available in a choice of worksurface, upstand or splashback. Four new plain colours have been added too, responding to the trend for heritage colours in kitchen design. These provide design-led contrast options with worksurfaces. The colours are Olive Green (pictured with the new Ebony woodgrain design), Iris, Graphite and Aquamarine.

Splashbacks are available in two sizes - 3000 x 600 and a hob panel measuring 1500 x 1200. Both are 8mm thick, moisture resistant, mdf faced and balanced in high pressure decorative laminate. Bushboard's own-brand BB Complete adhesive and sealant is available in matching colours, giving the assurance of a professional and long-lasting installation.

"Five years ago splashbacks were on the periphery of our worktop offer but now they have become very mainstream and widely accepted by consumers and retailers as offering impeccable design and functionality," reports the company's managing director Stuart White.

Living up to its strapline of 'sensational surfaces for your kitchen', Bushboard's updated Prima range now includes six new worktop designs, two new textures, 10 new splashback colours, the company's exclusive Q3 edge profile on all worksurfaces and upstands, together with design-friendly shaped components in five designs.

A brand new and attractive POS package for Prima is available for retailers including a display stand with sample blocks, swatches, literature, dedicated customer service team and free product and installation training.
