Ellis Furniture launches industry leading iPad App

Demonstrating once again that it is at the forefront of the UK KBB sector, popular designer and manufacturer Ellis Furniture is about to radically change the way we approach bathroom design with the launch of a clever App developed for both iPad and web browsers that allows consumers, retailers, interior designers and architects to create a dream bathroom on screen.

Believed to be an industry first and available free to all from today via the Bathroom Styler App and at www.bathroomstyler.co.uk, this programme adds a new dimension to choosing the perfect bathroom as it delivers a dynamic and interactive approach to bathroom design.

Set to be of huge benefit to retailers, in particular, the innovative App will drive customers to Ellis Furniture retailer showrooms and make the whole design and sale process easier and swifter than ever before.

With the Bathroom Styler App, retailers can create an image of all the sometimes hard to imagine colour options. From the comfort of their showroom, office or home and at any time of the day or night, the user can create endless different bathroom styles using the entire range of Ellis fitted and modular furniture.

Retailers can now present product options like splashbacks more clearly in real size bathroom layouts in a slick, inventive way and present colours instantly and send the image to the consumer. Bathroom Styler also helps retailers select the best colours to put on display.

This pioneering App not only makes the selection process straight forward, it also saves hours of trial and error. With instant HD on screen visuals, selecting a final design for a dream bathroom has never been more accessible, or more fun.

Interior designers and architects can create styles and images for interior styling and mood boards to share with their customers in the same way, offering plenty of scope for a variety of designs that can be created quickly and effortlessly.

Consumers can create their dream bathroom from the comfort of their own home and send favourite designs to friends and family for feedback. Then they can take their shortlist of favourite designs to their local Ellis retailer.

Users of the clever App are expected to create an online bathroom design community as they are able post their ideas and designs on social media platforms to obtain feedback and share their stories.

How Bathroom Styler works

The well designed and intuitive user interface features typical native gestures of hiding and showing and tapping on content to reveal, making the Bathroom Styler very simple and enjoyable to use.

The first screen invites the user to learn about the 120-year heritage of Ellis Furniture and the traditional and cutting edge manufacturing techniques Ellis uses to produce its superior quality British made furniture. Also from the first screen the user can find a store, order brochures and select from the Bathroom Styler options of fitted or modular furniture.

Once the selection of either fitted or modular furniture is made, the user begins to configure as many bathroom designs as required by browsing and selecting the vast array of Ellis doors, carcasses, handles and worktops, whilst styling the floors and walls in a wide range of colours and finishes. Favourite designs are saved in a favourites list.

The favourite designs can then be shared with the world via email and social media and they can be shown directly from the iPad.
