BMA continues its rapid growth

Hard on the heels of the five manufacturers and media companies which joined the Bathroom Manufacturers Association last month, two more manufacturers and a media group have joined the association.

Salamader Pumps, the Sunderland-based shower pump manufacturer, has grown exponentially in the last decade and is now firmly established as one of the leading manufacturers of shower pumps in the UK.

Celebrating its centenary this year, Dallmer, the award winning manufacturer of bathroom drainage systems joins the BMA. The company originated in Leipzig and in the UK operates from its base in Sudbury.

Pro Publishing completes the list joining as Affiliate Member with its two magazines Utopia Kitchen & Bathroom and Designer Kitchen & Bathroom.

"The bathroom business is changing fast," comments Yvonne Orgill the association's CEO, "and our members know that their involvement with the BMA brings real benefits. We welcome all our new members and look forward to seeing them at future meetings."

The BMA, based at Keele's Innovation Centre, is the trade association for bathroom manufacturers operating in the UK. It is the principal 'Voice of the Bathroom Industry' and acts as an information highway between industry, government and the consumer on issues that affect the bathroom business.
The BMA represents, through its technical, marketing and management committees, the interests of over 55 major bathroom manufacturing groups and service providers with over 80 well-known brands in the market place. The manufacturing base directly employs 10,000+ people across almost 80 sites around the UK.
