Extra height WCs complete Regal Comfort range
Burlington, the well-known retail brand which manufacturers the only traditional range of bathroom products containing today's technology, has completed its Regal range of comfort-height sanitaryware with a choice of new pans.
Burlington supplies wide-ranging solutions for the period style bathroom, shower or cloakroom. From complete suites to individual pieces, the range comprises; a wide selection of basins and pedestals, close-coupled toilets, bathroom furniture, free-standing shower baths with complementary thermostatic showers, brassware and hidden wastes, along with an array of matching accessories, including radiators, lights and mirrors.
Burlington is already proving popular with consumers seeking to reproduce Victorian or Edwardian elegance and is first-choice for any specifier seeking to retain original design integrity in historical or Grade 2 listed properties. The new 48cm tall Regal WC pans are a full 6cms taller than the current market standard of 42cms.
As well as accommodating the taller consumer by enabling a sitting position with a straight back and legs at 90°, it is also more comfortable for those who may have a movement restriction due to advancing age, health issues or obesity.
Darren Allison, Burlington explains: "We can all see that the population is growing in both height and weight. There is a growing market for period-styled bathrooms that incorporate considerate design... design that offers the benefits and convenience of extra height and does not detract from the aesthetics of the room. The completion of the range means we have the whole bathroom offer at this comfortable height."
As with the entire Burlington portfolio, the Regal range is available in a broad selection of products, including back-to-wall, close-coupled and slimline WCs. Basins and wash stands at a comfort-height of 96cms, are offered in a choice of designs such as Classic, Edwardian or Victorian styles with one or two tap holes.
The brand is available to the trade through Barwicks, N Froy and Sons, Smiths Britten and Claygate distributors nationwide and CM Marketing in Ireland. Burlington is part of the international Bathroom Brands Group.
