BMA's brainchild shortlisted in Sentinel Business Awards
The Bathroom Manufacturers Association tells us it is delighted to announce that The Water Label has been shortlisted in the Annual Sentinel Business Awards. The Sentinel is the newspaper produced for readership in Staffordshire and Cheshire and the BMA entered this year's Business Awards with its brainchild, The Water Label. The entry has been successful, so far, and has been shortlisted in the Business Innovation category.
"The highlight of the regional business calendar, this competition rewards the very best, the most successful and the most innovative firms and acknowledges the cream of local businesspeople and entrepreneurs," reports Yvonne Orgill, Chief Executive of the BMA.
This year's event for 450 guests, will take place at the King's Hall in Stoke on the evening of Tuesday, 26th March.
VIPs on the night will include mobile phone billionaire John Caudwell, Stoke City Chairman Peter Coates, MPs from across Staffordshire, and bosses from JCB, Steelite, Wedgwood, St Modwen - a who's who of the business community.
"The judging panel has stated that this year: 'The quality of entries was staggeringly impressive,' so we know it's going to be a tough fight to gain the prestigious prize," says Yvonne.
The BMA's entry is based on 'The creation of The Water Label and its significance in raising awareness of the need for water and energy efficiency in the bathroom; its launch to UK consumers and its adoption across Europe.'
The Sentinel is making a short video of staff at the BMA offices and local members' factories.
