Silverdale wins 'Exporter of the Year' Award

Just over a year after Silverdale Bathrooms became independently owned, the company has won the East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce 'Exporter of the Year for 2013' award.

"It is a tremendous achievement.!" says Dave Tutton, Marketing & Commercial Director for the business, "The team have worked really hard to develop new product for the US market, sales to new markets such as Turkey, India and Australia and increased sales to Italy, Russia and the Middle East; and this award is a fantastic recognition of what everyone at Silverdale has achieved.

"Since we took over the business in December 2011 we have seen a 35% increase in our export sales and orders and that's certainly not as a result of declining sales in the UK, which have also been growing too."

Silverdale is one of the few remaining bathroom ceramic manufacturers producing in the UK today. The company markets its products through the B C Sanitan, Silverdale and Jacuzzi brands and sell through bathroom specialists throughout the UK and to a growing number of export markets.
