One organisation counting down the days to kbbLDN is Karonia, provider of the Mistral range of solid surfacing. The company tells us it will be using the show, which starts in just nine days, to build on its presence at previous shows and further demonstrate the versatile nature of this 25mm enhanced acrylic material.

Launched in 2010 and significantly extended at kbb2012, the current range comprises 17 effects, all combining the popular look of natural quartz and stone with the practicality and unlimited creative potential of an acrylic-based material. The worktops are completely non-porous so perfect for kitchen and bathroom environments and, because there is no substrate, there are no internal joints to compromise structural integrity or hinder imaginative design.

To promote the versatility and incredible design potential of Mistral, Karonia is producing a series of case studies demonstrating its use. Andrew Pickup, director, explains further:

"Now that most people are familiar with Mistral, we want to ensure they fully appreciate the design possibilities of its solid structure and how simple and straightforward it is to install. The show will give us the perfect opportunity to expand on this."
