De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances appoints Ness as sole distributor for N. Ireland

* De-D-distrib.jpgDe Dietrich Kitchen Appliances has appointed Belfast-based Ness as the sole distributor of the De Dietrich and Fagor brands in Northern Ireland. This exciting new relationship combines the market experience and expertise of Ness with the design, beauty and innovation from the De Dietrich portfolio, to strengthen and develop business in the region.

To celebrate the launch of the De Dietrich and Fagor appliance brands in Northern Ireland, Colleen McStravick, managing director of Ness and her staff hosted an Open Day for kitchen specialists at the newly refurbished Ness Showroom in Dow's Road, Belfast recently.

Together with demonstrations of the appliances by Richard Walker, Sales & Marketing director and his team from De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances, guests were treated to delicious food cooked by guest chef, Paul Stewart from Mourne Seafood Bar, Belfast. Using the Piano, claimed to be the world's most advanced induction hob together with a De Dietrich modular induction wok and Teppan Yaki Grill; the chef cooked a wide range of recipes to highlight the versatility of the appliances.

On display were highly advanced appliances from the De Dietrich Premium and Core Collections together with a range of Fagor Ovens, which were met with a consistently positive response to their style, quality and technological innovations from the wide number of guests that attended throughout the day.

Belfast-based Ness is a 10-year old company that focuses on the kitchen specialist. The company has recently invested in a stylish new showroom and training centre for dealers where appliances from the De Dietrich Premium and Core Collections together with an appliance range from Fagor are displayed live within a real kitchen environment.

Richard Walker explains: "It has been an absolute pleasure to visit Belfast and to meet with the many dedicated specialist retailers that work with Colleen and Ness. We are truly delighted by the proactive approach that our new distributor Ness has taken already with our brands and by the excellent organisation and effort the team clearly made to make this event so successful."

Colleen McStravick, managing director of Ness Ltd. says:

"We are so gratified by the excellent response to the De Dietrich and Fagor brands from our retail partners, and it has been non-stop since the launch event. We took a number of display orders on the day itself, and we are still receiving requests days after the event. I feel very excited about our future together and I look forward to a long and happy partnership."

Furthermore, De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances has improved its aftersales service offer for Northern Ireland. Together with the statutory 12 month warranty, a free five year parts and labour upgrade is available on selected appliances from De Dietrich and Fagor, subject to registration. All warranties and service call-outs are administered by Assurant Services, whose service call-centre is based in the ROI.
