British Ceramic Tile extends its HD collection

* BCT-Mantis.jpgLeading tile manufacturer and distributor, British Ceramic Tile, has expanded its high definition (HD) collection with even more colours, styles and finishes to keep up with demand from retailers.

One of the company's fastest growing collections to date, the fabulous HD range now includes new concrete and wood-effect tiles, together with imitation marble and sandstone in a range of colours from emerald green through to terracotta.

"Based upon the success we had with the launch of HD Origin, the company has heavily invested in new inkjet technology in order to increase production and create exciting new, trend-led collections," reveals British Ceramic Tile's Senior Product Manager Jayne Adamson.

"The whole premise behind the HD ceramic tile collection has been a hit with consumers and retailers alike. Hard-wearing and cost effective, the HD collection requires none of the special preparation or maintenance associated with natural stone or wood, making it an incredibly versatile and practical option in any area of the home."

Wood-effect:
The new wood-effect range brings to life the detail and shade variations you come to expect with real wood. Designed for use both on the wall and floor, the tiles come in two different styles, a traditional plank and rustic wood effect.

Offering the same design aesthetics as a classic wooden floor with the added benefits of a ceramic tile, HD's wood-effect tile is available in brown, light brown, light grey and grey in a 148 x 498mm size. HD's rustic wood effect ceramic tile captures the look of a more traditional wooden floor recreating the shabby chic look and is available in white, light grey, beige and dark grey in a 148 x 498mm size.

Concrete-effect:
Tapping into the trend for urban design influences, the concrete-effect wall (248 x 498mm) and floor (331 x 331mm) tiles are available in three striking shades of grey from light to dark with a co-ordinating feature floor tile in a 331 x 331mm format.

Jayne added: "As well as traditional marble and sandstone effects, we've also seen a huge trend for more urban inspired interiors with concrete flooring set to be the next big thing."

Marble-effects:
The Chameleon, Mantis and Gecko ranges celebrate HD's effortless ability to imitate nature. A striking marble-effect with stunning black veining set against a pure white background, Mantis features a 298 x 498mm gloss wall tile, a white matt multi use tile in 298 x 498mm and a white matt floor tile in a 331 x 331mm format.

Chameleon is a marble effect and includes a striking grey and white matt multi use tile in 298 x 498mm, along with a striking emerald colourway to celebrate 2013's colour of the year. Gecko's sandstone effect comes in grey, beige and terracotta and green multi use tiles with a matt finish in a 248 x 498mm size. Incredibly versatile, mutli use tiles offer retailers more choice of wall and floor tiles to offer consumers whilst only stocking one product.

British Ceramic Tile's extended product launch will be supported by suite of marketing material for retailers, including a series of postcards that showcase each product in the 30-tile range along with roomset photography.
