Gorenje scores sponsorship for netball youngsters

Gorenje UK, one of Europe's leading kitchen appliance manufacturers, has showed its support for Warrington Town Junior Netball Club by providing tracksuits for members of the club's 11 teams.

The generous £2,500 sponsorship deal was agreed upon when Stuart Benson, national sales manager for Gorenje UK who lives locally to the club, heard that the youngsters were in need of some support.

Jernej Hren, Managing Director of Gorenje UK comments: "We are keen to give back to local communities by supporting local initiatives, and when we heard that the netball club was in need of a kit, we were only too happy to help. We hope that our contribution will help to grow the club and bring further success along the way."

Chris White, Warrington Town Junior Club Manager, says: "It is difficult for small junior netball clubs to secure sponsorship and we are delighted that Gorenje UK has provided us with the funds to help us to kit out our 11 teams with Warrington Town Junior Club hackers."

The Warrington Netball Junior section has a total of 11 teams ranging from Under 10s to Under 15s, competing in the North West Regional, Cheshire County and local Ball Hall leagues.

This sponsorship accompanies Gorenje's announcement that it will broaden its UK offering with a brand new product collection which is set to be unveiled in the coming months.
