KBB Preview: Selling made easier with ArtiCad - new versions launch at Show

CAD software specialist for the KBB sector, ArtiCAD, will be seeking to wow visitors at this year's KBB show with the latest versions of all four of the company's core technologies - ArtiCAD-Pro, BathCAD, MyRoomPlan and MyRoomFinish - being featured. The four products have all been designed specifically and solely for the KBB industry with the aim of making it easier and faster for ArtiCAD clients to sell their products and services.

Version 19 of ArtiCAD-Pro and BathCAD - which will be launched at the show - incorporates a new, even faster rendering engine, a 3D panoramic design viewer and a new design interface. Combined with a significant improvement in lighting, this latest version provides ArtiCAD users with the means to deliver even more realistic and more easily created design images with which to impress their clients and sell their services.

And for the technically-minded, ArtiCAD now offers increased choice in the way the software can be deployed within an organisation...

In addition to the dongle-free option (which offers flexible use in a network environment), a new server-based version is now available. This means designers can operate ArtiCAD-Pro on any device (including the Apple iPad). The need for high specification hardware is also eliminated.

Changes to graphics, pricing and custom programming are applied just once to the server so that every designer's ArtiCAD system is simultaneously updated to the very latest version and, as all designs are stored centrally, the client's design software can be streamed to any remote machines with an internet connection.

Complementing ArtiCAD-Pro and BathCAD are ArtiCAD's innovative online tools. MyRoomPlan encourages website visitors to submit details to KBB companies of their room projects, including a dimensioned plan of the room. The suppliers receive qualified sales leads - even outside their normal business hours. Patented MyRoomFinish helps clients to visualise and select different style and colour options to help them in their decision making process, and the KBB supplier in their sales process.
