Essex kitchen retailer awarded quality mark for installation excellence

A kitchen retailer and installer with showrooms in Chelmsford and Billericay is the first in the area and only the fourth in the country, to be awarded a quality mark signifying excellence in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom installation, as part of a furniture industry scheme specifically aimed at independent retailers.

Regal Kitchens, which offers a full range of contemporary and classic kitchen styles and designs and can provide anything from a simple makeover to a complete supply, remodelling and fitting service, has been certified to meet the quality targets set by FIRA Gold Installation Certification for Independent Retailers.

The Certification is awarded by FIRA International, expert in the furniture industry for over 60 years and it is already held by many major retailers. Following requests from the industry, FIRA launched Gold Installation Certification for Independent Retailers to recognise the quality and achievements by the specialist sector of the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry.

To receive the Gold Installation certification the company must to go through a rigorous annual audit, ensuring that all staff are working to the highest standards and to agreed industry practices.

Regal Kitchens is also a member of the Furniture Industry Research Association and Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme.
