Britannia Living launches recycling innovation Krushr

Premium kitchen appliance specialist Britannia Living has announced that it is bringing revolutionary new recycling compactor Krushr to the UK market. Krushr, which has joined the portfolio of Britannia Living brands, is launching in the UK following huge success in the USA and Europe.

Krushr recycling compactors compress plastic, waste paper, cans and cardboard together, with separate storage sections for glass and newspapers/magazines in the K600 model. The product utilises state-of-the-art technology to reduce the size of household waste by up to four times, fitting an impressive 200 litres worth of compressed waste into the central collection bin.

"I believe Krushr is currently the only domestic waste compressor available in the UK, and we're delighted to be offering this high quality, environmentally sound UK manufactured appliance," says Britannia Living commercial manager Jacqui Hoctor.

"It is the ideal tool to simplify recycling and extremely convenient, reducing trips to outside recycling bins! The three sizes also make it a viable option for any kitchen and suitable for the differing recycling policies of individual boroughs.

"Krushr has already been recognised with an innovation award at this year's KBB Exhibition for its energy efficiency, space saving qualities and cost effectiveness."

Britannia will be responsible for distributing Krushr to kitchen studios and appliance stores across the UK. The appliance will be available in 300mm, 400mm and 600mm, is very easy to install and can be fully integrated into kitchen cabinetry underneath the work surface or behind a stainless steel door panel, which can be supplied.
