British Ceramic Tile enhances its portfolio with a stunning new capsule collection of Mosaics

* BCT-Dark-mother-of-pearl.jpgThis Summer sees the launch of British Ceramic Tile's new Mosaics collection. Designed to complement the company's existing portfolio of wall and floor tiles, this new capsule collection of Mosaics sees British Ceramic Tile continue on its journey to become a one-stop shop for all tiling needs.

Offering retailers four equally strong ranges within one collection, Mosaics has been designed with the aim of inspiring homeowners to use mosaic tiles in new and unique ways.

From feature walls in the kitchen and accent borders in the bathroom, to upcycling dining room furniture and tiling unusual spaces in the living room, the opportunity to use mosaics in the home are endless.

Jayne Adamson, British Ceramic Tile's Senior Product Manager, * BCT-Hammered-glass.jpgexplains:

"Mosaics can instantly transform walls or floors, but the latest trend is to be creative with mosaics in the home. Homeowners are becoming much more adventurous choosing mosaics to transform fireplaces, alcoves and even pieces of furniture for an instant update.

"The ever-increasing choice of colours and finishes make mosaics more than just a surface solution. Stunning mother of pearl finishes together with shimmering glass and iridescent effects give mosaics their unique decorative quality, adding glamour and opulence throughout the home."

Each mosaic tile is made up of a collection of smaller tiles on a mesh backing, forming a square of around 30x30cm. Sheets can also be cut to size to fit into smaller areas or create statement borders, offering homeowners versatility and ease in one.

Shades of Grey provides a classic monochrome colour scheme, with a palette of white, black, grey and silver. Glass with insets of stone adds textural interest to everyday mosaics, while iridescent and foil finishes also feature within the range.* BCT-Luxe-white-glacier.jpg

The Naturals story celebrates the beauty of natural stone offering a timeless look for walls or floors. With an organic colour palette, interesting textures and different size formats, it blends natural stone, glass and metallic elements for added luxury.

For a more decadent look, Luxe boasts luxurious materials and finishes including romantic mother of pearl, mirror and glass, along with unexpected shapes and patterns to dress up walls.

Across the four ranges in this new collection, retailers can benefit from 36 SKUs, supported by marketing materials, which include eye-catching countertop stands with mini toast racks as well as large stands, brochures and Z cards. The lifestyle and product photography will be used in a strong consumer campaign to drive customers in-store. Plans are also already in place to extend Mosaics throughout the coming year.

British Ceramic Tile offers the very best of British design together with quality, value and a serious approach to social and environmental responsibilities. The company supplies an extensive range of ceramic and porcelain wall and floor tiles as well as glass and decorative products to major multiples, national house developers and the trade, including independent tile retailers, contractors and specifiers.
