LDL Components scoops Entrepreneur Award

LDL Components has won the 'Most Impressive Growth' category at the recent National Entrepreneur Awards 2014.

Matthew Lord, LDL's Managing Director, received the award on behalf of the company from Alistair McGowan at the National Entrepreneur Convention, held at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham, this week.

The annual awards aim to recognise and celebrate the achievements of entrepreneurs and this year there were over 380 entries. LDL was shortlisted for the 'Most Impressive Growth' category, one of 10 awards in the scheme, along with five other companies.

A delighted Matthew Lord said after the ceremony: "I am very proud to accept this award on behalf of all the team at LDL. A massive thank you to everyone at LDL for their passion and dedication to the business - this award is for all of us.

"It's been incredibly tough at times but we've had ten years of year on year growth, going from £1 million turnover to £7.8 million in that time with an industry-leading fulfilment rate of 98.5%.

"Now, we are looking forward to the next stage in our ambitious expansion plan."
