Martin Carroll becomes Duravit UK managing director

With effect from October 1st, 2014, Martin Carroll became the new managing director of Duravit UK. Martin has gathered experience over several years as sales director for the company and has an extensive specialised knowledge of the bathroom industry.

One of his main tasks will be the coordination, support and expansion of distribution channels and the direct approach to project decision-makers.

"Martin has been a member of our senior team in the UK for several years and has since played an important role in the success story of our company in the UK," says Albrecht von der Groeben, Duravit AG's chief of international sales. "We trust in him to further strengthen the position of Duravit as an important market participant for our business partners. This change shows therefore continuity in the relationship with our customers."

Duravit AG develops products such as sanitary ceramics, bathroom furniture, shower trays and bathtubs, whirl and wellbeing systems, Sensowash shower-toilets, kitchen sinks and accessories for the international market. Overall, the company that was founded in 1817, now operates with 35 affiliated companies and is present in more than 120 countries. Duravit now has more than 5,700 employees worldwide.
