Recent graduate Dan Marshall has been appointed to the post of product developer within the design team at Masterclass Kitchens.

This is on the back of a record sales year in 2014 and in preparation for much-anticipated further growth in the year ahead.

Twenty-two-year-old Dan is originally from Exeter but now lives in Cardiff and will work with the development team at Masterclass Kitchens, focussing on new concepts and design features for the company's expanding of quality kitchen.

Dan graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2014 with a degree in Product Design (BA).

He was awarded a European Elektra Award for his Empathy Project for outstanding work in developing an educational prototype which offers sensory experiences for autistic children. The Elektra Awards celebrate the achievements of individuals and companies across the European Elektra electronics industry.

Managing director of Masterclass Kitchens, Gerald Jones, says: "We are very pleased to welcome Dan to the team, particularly at the start of his career. He brings a huge amount of talent and knowledge to the business, which will be invaluable to us as we continue to grow."
