Manhattan Showers goes into voluntary liquidation
Lancashire-based shower enclosure and screen manufacturer Manhattan Showers, has announced that it went into voluntary liquidation on 14th July 2015.
The decision was taken when the Hong Kong shareholders decided not to provide further funding to the company, and to focus on their core businesses in Hong Kong and China.
Though Manhattan has been a major player in the British shower enclosure market for some 24 years the group of Hong Kong and UK investors purchased a major shareholding in 2011, after the business was destabilised due to the sudden death of Manhattan's then Managing Director.
